Beyond Black: Ed Clark, Eugene Martin and John T. Scott
January 28 - May 8, 2011 Beyond Black presents the impressive artistic careers of three modern African-American artists with resounding ties to the state of Louisiana. Ed Clark, Eugene Martin and John T. Scott rose to the challenge of modern art and helped shape the definition of abstraction for Louisiana artists. The LSU Museum of Art will partner with the New Orleans African American Museum of Art in Treme on programming and events to complement the exhibition.
